Client Activity Possibilities

Craft Classes

Enjoy making crafts, socialize and have fun.  Sessions are Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm - 9:00pm at Community Volunteer Connections (44 Queen Street).  The cost for this project varies depending on the craft.  You are responsible for your own transportation.

Cooking Class

Every Tuesday from 3:30pm - 6:30pm at Dryden & District Association for Community Living (280 Arthur Street).  Get together with a bunch of fun people and cook up a storm.  Socialize and enjoy "hopefully a good meal."  The cost is $5 for food and supplies and you are responsible for your own transportation.

Gym Nights

Come out and get fit.  Every Friday night clients have the opportunity to take part in gym nights.  These are help at Pinewood School from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.  There is no fee, just come out and have some fun.

Bowling

There are some openings on the Wednesday afternoon bowling league.  If interested contact us.

Movie Nights

Interested in going to a movie?  If you need a companion let us know.

Extended Vacation or Day Trip

Want to go on a trip?  Need help with the details and support during your trip?  Contact us and we can help.


Income Tax Program

Volunteers will be on hand to complete income taxes for people on low incomes starting March 6, 2006 until April 28, 2006.  Contact the office for hours.


Parent Support Group

Are you a parent with a special needs child?  You are welcome to attend the parent support group to share information.  Monthly meetings are held at 211 Princess Street.  Contact Doris at 223-6606 for more information.
